We collect one thing: the email you give us.

When you subscribe, we store your email address so we can send you the briefing. That's the reason we have it and the only thing we use it for.

We don't sell the list, rent it, or share it with anyone. We use a standard email delivery provider to send issues; your address lives there and in our own database, nowhere else. Open and click statistics are measured in aggregate so we know which stories were useful.

Every issue has an unsubscribe link. Using it removes you immediately. If you want your address deleted entirely rather than just unsubscribed, reply to any issue and say so — a human will do it.

The website itself sets no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics cookies.
